Four sites. One plan.
Built around the work that pays.
We rebuild Leelanau Auto, Leelanau Performance and Thompson Racing Fabrication* so each one shows up when someone nearby searches for exactly what that shop does. Leelanau Cars stays the front door for all three. Then we keep all four sites hosted, watched and growing on one monthly plan.
Every site is built on our Foundation 30 method: about 30 pages, each one aimed at a service you actually want more of, with the research done up front so we're building pages people are already searching for.
What it costs
One-time build
Paid as the work happens
| Leelanau Auto rebuild | $1,500 |
| Leelanau Performance rebuild | $1,500 |
| Thompson Racing Fabrication rebuild | $1,500 |
| Leelanau Cars hub (already agreed) | $500 |
Monthly, after launch
$250 per shop site, all four sites covered
| Leelanau Auto | $250 |
| Leelanau Performance | $250 |
| Thompson Racing Fabrication | $250 |
| Leelanau Cars hub, hosted + basic analytics | Included |
We have clients paying $500 a month for this service. Because you're a preferred client, we're offering you the same service at $250 per site, as a token of gratitude for our long-standing business relationship and as a quantity discount for covering all of your shops at once.
How payment works: $2,250 when you approve (half the rebuilds), then $750 as each shop launches. The $500 for the hub is as already agreed. The monthly plan starts the month the first rebuilt shop goes live and is billed on the 1st by card; until then your current hosting stays as it is. Month to month, 30 days' notice, no long contract.
What the monthly plan covers
This is the ongoing work after each shop launches, for $250 a month per shop site. Leelanau Cars gets hosting and basic analytics at no charge.
Every month, for each shop
- Content: one or two blog posts and one or two Google Business Profile posts a month, written by us, approved by you with one click.
- Ongoing SEO: on-page SEO kept tight as rankings move, plus small page additions as your services change.
- Tracking report: a monthly report for each site covering traffic, calls, where you rank on your top keywords, and what we're doing next.
- Rank tracking: four keywords per shop, shown on a map of the area (tracked nationally for TRF).
Always on
- Hosting: Cloudflare in front, daily backups, updates, SSL and uptime monitoring on all four sites.
- Google Business Profile watch: new reviews caught within the hour; a bad one is sent to you right away with a drafted reply.
- Hours and info changes: update your hours once on a short form and it updates Google and the site.
- Quarterly meeting: one call a quarter to go over what's working and what to push next.
Not included: backlink building, paid ads, and photography. We can quote any of those separately.
How this goes
Three stages, one shop at a time. The left column is the only work we need from you or your team. When a stage is waiting on something from your side, it's marked, so you always know what's holding the next step.
1Approve and get started
About a week. Mostly paperwork and access.
From you
- Approve this proposal (button at the bottom) and pay the $2,250 deposit.
- Tell us which shop goes first.
- Give us access to all of your Google Business Profiles.
- Share the Drive folders with your photos, including the account that holds the TRF pictures.
From us
- Send the deposit invoice within 48 hours of you approving.
- Set up the project, your tracking accounts, and the two short forms you'll fill out in stage 2.
- Pull a full snapshot of each current site so nothing gets lost in the rebuild.
2Research and design
About two weeks per shop. This is where your team's input matters most.
From you
- Design form (about 10 minutes): your logo files, colors, and the feel you want for this shop. This is what we build the design set from.
- Categories form (about 10 minutes): we show you the four main categories we found in the search data and the services under each. You check off what you want more of, what to skip, and the do's and don'ts for this business, including anything we should never say.
- Approve the final category and service list.
- Look at the homepage design and sign off on it in writing before we build the rest.
From us
- Pull local search data for the shop's area to find the repairs and services real people nearby are searching for, and how they word it.
- Turn that into the four main categories and the money services under each, ready for you to approve.
- Build a design set from your form: colors, type, page layouts.
- Design the homepage and send it to you for sign-off.
3Build, launch and grow
About two weeks per shop to build, then ongoing.
From you
- Review the finished site. You get two rounds of changes.
- Give the go-ahead to launch.
- After launch: approve the monthly posts with one click, and tell us when hours or services change.
From us
- Build about 30 pages: one for each category and each money service, plus about, contact, reviews, and the shared careers page.
- Set up Google Analytics and Search Console on the new site, plus Cloudflare, SSL, security hardening and a mobile check.
- Redirect every old page to its new one so you keep the rankings you already have.
- Launch, then start the monthly plan: hosting, Google Business Profile monitoring with bad-review alerts, rank tracking on your top keywords, one blog post and two profile posts a month, and a monthly report.
- Check in two weeks after launch, then start the next shop.
* Thompson Racing Fabrication is different. Its customers come from across the country, not just Leelanau County, so we treat it as a national site: the research is built around your revenue streams and the specific services your customers already search for, and we track rankings nationally instead of on a local map. See the Thompson Racing Fabrication tab.
Agree to the proposal
Enter your name and email and click the button. We'll send the deposit invoice within 48 hours, along with your first form. No money changes hands on this page.
If anything here isn't to your liking, email or text me with your concerns before you approve and we'll sort it out.
By agreeing you're accepting the pricing and payment terms above: $5,000 in build fees paid as each shop is delivered, and $750 a month for all four sites once the first rebuilt shop goes live, month to month.
Leelanau Cars
The front door for the whole group. The base is already built; this finishes it and keeps it running at no monthly cost.
What we need from you
- Nothing new. The logos and colors from each shop's design form are what we use here.
- Any job postings you want on the shared careers page, whenever they come up.
What we do
- Fine-tune the single-page site: a short section for each shop with its logo and colors, linking out to that shop's new site.
- Put the name, address and phone for all three shops in one place.
- Build one careers page for all three shops, so any job gets posted once.
- Cloudflare in front, SSL, uptime monitoring, and basic analytics so you can see who's finding the group.
What you get: one front door for all of your shops, and one place to post a job for any of them. Hosted and watched as part of the plan, no charge.
Leelanau Auto
The everyday repair shop. We build this site around the jobs people in Leelanau and around Traverse City are actually searching for, so the right customer lands on the right page and calls.
How we find the right customers
Before we design anything, we pull local search data for the shop's area: what repairs people nearby search for, how often, and the exact words they use. From that we build the four main categories for the shop and the services under each that make money. You tell us which ones you want more of and which to skip, and that list becomes the site map. Every page is then written for one service, in the words a local customer would type, which is how it shows up when they search.
What we need from you
- The design form: logo files, colors, and the feel you want. About 10 minutes.
- The categories form: check off the services you want more of, skip the ones you don't, and tell us the do's and don'ts, including anything you never want said.
- Your OK on the category list, then on the homepage design.
- Photos from your shared Drive folder, and two rounds of review on the finished site.
What we do
- Local search research and the category and service list.
- A design set from your logo and colors, and a homepage for sign-off.
- About 30 pages: one for each category and each money service, plus about, contact, reviews, and a link to the shared careers page.
- On-page SEO on every page, Google Analytics and Search Console, Cloudflare, SSL, security hardening, and a mobile check.
- Redirects from every old page to its new one, so you keep the rankings you have.
- After launch: rank tracking on four keywords (your main Google Business Profile category plus the top three money services) shown on a map of the area, Google Business Profile monitoring with bad-review alerts, monthly posts, and a monthly report.
What you get: a site built around the jobs you want more of, with traffic to those pages tracked from the day it launches so we can see what's growing and push on it.
Leelanau Performance
Same full rebuild as Leelanau Auto, pointed at a different customer: someone with a nice car who wants clean, professional work and will drive for it.
How we find the right customers
We pull local search data for performance, tuning and specialty work around Traverse City and the surrounding area, since this customer travels further than an oil-change customer does. From that we build the four categories and the services you want to be known for. The site gets its own look and voice: it should read differently from the everyday shop even though the brand colors are shared, so the right person feels they've found the right place before they call.
What we need from you
- The design form, with the feel you want for this shop specifically.
- The categories form: the performance and specialty services you want more of, the ones to skip, and the do's and don'ts.
- Your OK on the category list, then on the homepage design.
- Photos from your shared Drive folder, and two rounds of review.
What we do
- Local search research across the wider area this customer drives from, and the category and service list.
- A design set with its own feel, and a homepage for sign-off.
- About 30 pages built around your categories and top services.
- The same analytics, Search Console, Cloudflare, security, redirects and mobile check as Leelanau Auto.
- After launch: rank tracking on four keywords across the area, Google Business Profile monitoring, monthly posts, and a monthly report.
What you get: a site that makes the right customer feel they've found the right shop before they call, with traffic to your key services tracked and grown month over month.
Thompson Racing Fabrication
Your rally and race customers come from all over the country, so this one isn't a local-search job. We build it around your revenue streams and the specific services your customers already know to look for.
How this one is different
Local search data doesn't tell us much about a national niche, so the categories form does more of the work here. Instead of us showing you what people nearby search for, we ask you directly: your four main revenue streams, the services under each you want to push, and anything you don't want to advertise. From that we build the site map, and we use those same categories to drive traffic to blog posts and pages written for your specific services, which is how a national customer finds a specialist.
We know the lingo in this world has to be spot on. A page that calls something by the wrong name loses the exact customer it was written for. So on this site we'll work with you and your team on wording before anything goes live, and the do's and don'ts you give us on the form carry real weight.
What we need from you
- The design form, with the feel that fits the racing side of the business.
- The categories form: your four main revenue streams, the services under each to push, what not to advertise, and the terms your customers actually use.
- Access to the Drive account that holds the TRF photos.
- Someone on your team who can check wording with us, plus your OK on the category list and the homepage, and two rounds of review.
What we do
- Build the category and service list from your form, and check the wording against what people search for nationally.
- A design set that fits the racing side, and a homepage for sign-off.
- About 30 pages built around your revenue streams and services, plus ongoing blog posts aimed at the specific services you want more of.
- The same analytics, Search Console, Cloudflare, security, redirects and mobile check as the other two shops.
- After launch: national rank tracking on four keywords instead of a local map, Google Business Profile monitoring, monthly posts, and a monthly report.
What you get: a site that shows the people who already know the name that you do exactly what they're looking for, with traffic to your key services tracked and grown nationally.
